Urban Designer - MCP
Mark has over 18 years of private and municipal planning experience, mostly focusing on master-planned communities, neighbourhood design, site planning, and commercial development. Prior to joining B&A, Mark worked as a Senior Planner for the City of Airdrie where he helped to facilitate more emphasis on strong design and creativity in the planning process for one of Canada’s fastest growing municipalities. Mark has also worked for private architecture-planning firms in California for ten years, where he learned much of his planning and designing creativity. There, he worked on a variety of innovative projects ranging from small-scale site planning to large-scale master planned communities and commercial developments located throughout California, and as far away as China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Geography and a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Manitoba. He has a passion for learning new innovative ideas that help shape the places where we live. At B&A, Mark brings that passion to our Master Planning & Urban Design group to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
