Daria has extensive experience in rural and urban planning with over 10 years working in both the public and private sectors. She has also been involved in teaching the principles of sustainable rural planning at Olds College. As part of her experience, Daria has reviewed and prepared statutory and non-statutory documents and delivered a range of day-to-day planning services (e.g. redesignations, development permits, bylaw development, policy research, etc.) to a variety of municipal private sector clients. She has also been involved in long-term planning projects including updates to Municipal Development Plans and Land Use Bylaws. Recently, Daria has worked on the Westerra Neighbourhood Plan and the Phase One Concept Plan in Regina, SK. She has also worked on annexation reports and subdivision reviews.

Daria has strong attention to detail and values precision in her work. She is adapt at research, writing and working with the public. Daria collaborated with other agencies, planners, and departments on various projects using organizational sensitivity and has strong ties with governmental agencies such as Alberta Transportation. She particularly likes working on projects with a public engagement component.
