Brian is a registered professional planner with the Canadian Institute of Planners and an associate at B&A Planning Group – one of Western Canada’s leading planning, strategy, and design firms. Brian leads B&A’s Edmonton office with his 15 years of both public and private sector experience working across Alberta and British Columbia.

While he specializes in land-use planning, transit-oriented development, and downtown/mature neighbourhood redevelopment, Brian also has expertise in city-wide policy development, as well as industrial and greenfield planning.

Brian started his professional planning career at the City of Edmonton and has worked on a large variety of successful projects and initiatives, including the award-winning Capital City Downtown Plan and Edmonton’s Urban Design Framework.
