Environmental Planning

Environmental site conditions, multi-jurisdictional policies, and legislation often impose significant challenges and constraints on a project.  We help our clients identify these issues early through pre-purchase land assessments, including potential financial and timing implications, and act as guides through the complicated process of assessment, mitigation, and approval.  Environmental planning services often run in parallel with other B&A service offerings, including Master Planning, Municipal Planning, Land Use, and Development Approvals, Energy and Resource Development, and other Special Projects.

Our expertise in environmental planning comes from our involvement with both Provincial and Municipal policy development, and application of policy on a wide variety of projects in urban, rural, and industrial contexts.  We understand that balance between conservation of natural resources and project needs is required to reach a solution that benefits all.
