B&A worked closely with Cardel Homes on the development of the Silverton Station outline plan and land use amendment which as approved by the City of Calgary in 2016. The outline plan and corresponding land use amendment provides for a comprehensive planning framework for Cardel’s Silverton Station lands earmarked for intense transit oriented development. The Outline Plan established a comprehensive framework for future land uses, road network, transit characteristics and elements of the public realm. The Silverton Station Outline Plan combined with the recently approved East Silverado Outline Plan and Land Use Redesignation, and anticipated future planning applications will comprise the neighbourhood of Silverton Station in the Community of Silverado. Throughout the project, B&A worked closely with Cardel Homes, the City of Calgary and key stakeholders to achieve project support.
