As our service offerings continue to expand, we’re pleased to welcome five new staff to contribute to the success of our growing team. Join us in welcoming Laura Young and Lori Perez in our Urban Design group, as well as community planners, Oliver Prcic and Bronwyn Culham, and Junior GIS Analyst, Emily Cristobal.
The addition of these new team members will help enhance and deepen our urban design studio as well as offer increased international experience and depth to the urban design team. Furthermore, the added expertise of our new community planners and GIS analyst will help strengthen our capacity and service offerings to our expanding energy client base.

Laura Young joined the B&A design studio in December 2021 as an urban designer and will lead and support various client projects throughout North America.
Laura is an award-winning, creative urban designer with experience in Europe, North America, and Asia, working in architecture and urban design firms in Calgary and London, UK. Previously, Laura led a successful design partnership with Thomas Debicki and held a design strategist position with GRS as their Head of Master Planning and Design. Her experience includes mixed-use, residential, commercial, and cultural schemes from concept planning through to construction.
Lori Perez is an urban design technologist and joined the B&A design studio in December 2021. Lori will provide drafting and design support to our urban design team.
Lori’s background began with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and later a diploma from SAIT in Architectural Technology. After several years working at architecture companies as a technologist, she worked for PlaceMakers Canada with our own Geoff Dyer. There she was trained as an Urban Design Technologist and used her AutoCad, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills to create maps, graphic materials, and 3D design concepts.
Welcome, Laura and Lori!
Partner and accomplished urban designer, Geoff Dyer leads our growing design studio and says
