New Management Team & Partnership Structure

In May 2016, Kathy Oberg was appointed new Managing Partner at B&A. Kathy has been with B&A for 17 years and has 20 years of planning experience in the Calgary Region.

“I’m excited to lead B&A and carry forward and build upon the excellent foundation and reputation that has been built from the ground-up over the past 28 years,” says Kathy. “As the firm continues to grow and evolve, we’ve established a Strategic Management Team (SMT) that will propel the company forward and guide future success.”

The SMT is comprised of five B&A partners – Kathy Oberg, Vern Hart, Ken Venner, Pam MacInnis, and Nathan Petherick.

The SMT will focus on realizing the long-term vision and strategic priorities of our firm including:

  • continuing expansion of services to meet existing client demand;
  • geographic movement into prominent markets in Western Canada including Edmonton/Northern Alberta, and Regina/Saskatoon; and,
  • pursuing new clients within existing markets.

A partnership transition plan has also been developed by the SMT to address retirements that will occur in next few years with B&A continuing to be an active partner owned company.

The entire team at B&A is excited for the next chapter in our evolution. We’re ready to continue our track record in achieving project success for our diverse clients. It’s all part of sharing our passion to create better communities together and consistently demonstrating our core values in everything we do – strategic, creative, passionate and solutions driven.
