Celebrating the Success & Contributions of Bela Syal

On March 31, 2017, after twenty-five years of exceptional successes, Bela Syal will be moving on from B&A.

Bela is currently halfway through her Executive MBA and will be transitioning into a new chapter in her career.

She has played a pivotal role in building B&A and in establishing and cementing strong relationships with many of our clients.  She has facilitated our company’s success through her dedication and commitment to innovation and excellence.

Take a drive around Calgary and you will see first-hand Bela’s diverse and impressive work.  Bela has truly helped envision, shape and build the City of Calgary and has left a legacy of many award-winning communities, starting with the Hamptons in the early 1990s, to the more recent communities of Mahogany, Livingston and Walden. In addition, she has helped establish the vision for a number of large-scale policy plans including Rangeview, North Stoney and Keystone.

Beyond Calgary and surrounding areas, Bela has led and implemented a range of challenging and dynamic projects in Russia during her time at B&A.

As a volunteer, Bela has served on Council for APPI and Chair of the UDI Planning Committee. She has been a strong supporter of the Planning Program at the University of Calgary and volunteered time and resources to the Program.

We wish to thank Bela for her contributions to the growth and legacy of B&A and we wish her the best of luck in her new chapter. We look forward to continuing to build upon and advance the relationships established to date in our continued passion to create better communities, together.
