BILD Volunteer, Marissa Koop

B&A is pleased to recognize Marissa Koop, Exceptional Service Award recipient from BILD Alberta

Each year BILD Alberta honours volunteers for their dedication, contribution, and leadership to the building and land development industry through their commitment to BILD. This past September B&A Associate and Environmental Planning Lead Marissa Koop was awarded the 2018 BILD Alberta Exceptional Service Volunteer Award.  The Exceptional Service Award is presented to BILD Alberta Volunteers in recognition of their dedication and service to the Association.

Marissa has been the Environment Committee Chair for BILD Alberta for five years, where she has been a strong voice in advocating changes to provincial wetland and water policy. Having worked extensively with regulatory agencies and developers throughout Western Canada, Marissa continues to contribute her passion and knowledge to the industry’s Constructed Stormwater Wetland Assessment Tool Pilot as well as the Stormwater Reuse Policy development and pilot initiatives.  She is also actively involved with ENGO’s, municipalities, and the Province to clearly define regulatory policy responsibility and alignment at all levels of government.

B&A is proud to recognize Marissa Koop for her contributions to the industry!
