It has been an exciting and productive year for B&A. We experienced growth across our service areas and successfully helped our clients achieve project success and approvals across a broad range of Municipalities in Western Canada. As the momentum continues, stay tuned in early 2017 for some exciting announcements relating to our team, growth and ability to deliver exceptional results.
We’d also like to thank all of our clients and colleagues for their business in 2016. We look forward to working together in 2017 to help manage every step of the planning process from project conceptualization through to project approval!
Here are some of the highlights from 2016:
This year we launched our new name, brand and new website. Our evolved brand represents the collective expertise that makes B&A who we are as a company. It reflects our promise to deliver ‘triple win’ solutions to benefit our clients, approving authorities and the broader community.
We now refer to ourselves as B&A Planning Group, or simply B&A.
Effective December 19, 2016, we also made the move to a new, larger office to accommodate our growing team. We are now located in the Penn West Plaza – West Tower at 600, 215 – 9th Avenue SW. Check out our feature article for more info!
Within our new branding, we have identified Service Area Categories to reflect the full range and depth of our expertise.
Kathy Oberg became B&A’s new Managing Partner in April 2016. In addition to continuing to work with her valued clients, she is now responsible for the overall management of the firm and day-to-day operations. Kathy has been with B&A for over 16 years. Her leadership, passion and vision have played a pivotal role in helping grow our organization.
Greg Brown, one of B&A’s founders, is now a Senior Advisor to the partner group. He is focusing on helping build the momentum behind B&A’s growth strategies while also focusing on a diverse range of clients and projects.
In order to support our growing service areas, we hired a range of talented team members in 2016, including:
Kimberly Lemmon, Senior Planner
