B&A Welcomes New Team Members

Kimberly Lemmon, Senior Planner

Kimberly LemmonKimberly joins us from the City of Calgary where she gained experience as a Planner and File Manager for a diverse range of complex applications for Land Use, Outline Plan, Subdivision and Policy Amendment. Kimberly brings an extensive knowledge of the municipal planning process and a passion for the creative element in designing our future neighbourhoods and communities.

At B&A, Kimberly will be focusing on working with existing and new clients within two of our primary service sectors: Master Planning & Urban Design and Land Use & Development Approvals within the City of Calgary.

Jonathan Schmidt, Senior Municipal Planner

Schmidt - Approved - BWJonathan joins us from McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. in Calgary where he held the role of Senior Community Planner & Project Manager. He brings extensive experience in community planning and land development and has led numerous public engagement processes, workshops and training for municipal Councils, development officers, and appeal boards.

Jonathan will be working primarily in the Municipal Planning area of practice undertaking statutory and non-statutory planning projects. He will also work with existing and new clients requiring Land Use & Development Approval services.

Russ Leedham, Community Planner & Senior Planning Technician

Leedham - Approved - BWRuss is a recent graduate of the University of Calgary EVDS program and also possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic Information Systems. Russ has over eight years of previous technical experience working as a GIS Specialist/CAD technician working on a wide range of oil and gas, transportation, civil, environmental, geomatics and planning projects.

Russ’s unique technical background and expertise coupled with his recent planning education will continue B&A’s efforts to further integrate GIS into our planning projects. Russ will be working on a wide range of projects with an initial focus on supporting the growth of the energy and resource development and municipal planning service areas.
