Belmont Station Receives Approval and Recognition for Exceptional Neighbourhood Planning

On February 25, 2019, Calgary City Council unanimously approved Belmont Station, a comprehensively planned TOD neighbourhood at the south end of the planned LRT Red Line extension.
B&A Takes Part in the Alberta Sand and Gravel Association’s Annual General Meeting

In early January, B&A’s Nathan Petherick and Bridget Honch attended the ASGA’s AGM and tradeshow as presenters and a title sponsor for the two-day event.
The ASGA represents the interests of Alberta sand and gravel (aggregate) operators on industry-related issues and educates the public on the value and uses of aggregate. The AGM serves as an opportunity to learn about changing regulations, lessons from peer companies, industry trends and new technologies, among other topics.
On December 10, 2018, Calgary City Council unanimously approved Calgary’s first master planned residential community in East Calgary in over 30 years. Tristar’s Belvedere neighbourhood will be home to 2,800 people with a variety of residential product offerings, a future elementary school, well-designed central parks, a significant wetland complex and easy access to shopping and services.
